Parco Degli Acquedotti
We have now been advised by our church leaders that we should only take public transportation if it is necessary to our work. Unfortunately that does not include going into Rome for sightseeing :( We really don't like driving into Rome because parking is so bad and there is a lot of it that you can even drive on without a special permit (delivery, taxis etc.) So, one lovely Sunday afternoon we took a drive to a beautiful park. This park is not like ones we have in the U.S.Yes, there were families having picnics, children playing soccer (calcio), people walking, biking or running. But here there are ancient ruins of aqueducts. It is so fascinating to walk among these ruins and realize just how old they are. Ciao!
